Our Founder – Renee Palmer,  Family Nurse Practitioner

Ten Years Younger is a medspa concentrating on aesthetics, hormone replacement, weight loss, and overall wellness. I am a third-generation registered nurse with previous training in cardiac, transplant, medical-surgical medicine, as well as aesthetics.

I am a 2004 graduate of Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a double major in marketing. Shortly after graduation, I was employed by one of the world’s largest public relations firms. I quickly realized I was not a desk person and needed to be a part of a more physically active and engaging environment.

I desired to work closely with people in a field where I served as a helper and caregiver. Soon after realizing that I truly desired to work in the medical field and work closely with people I returned to school to become a registered nurse After nursing school I planned to become a nurse practitioner. In 2008, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Prairie View A&M University in which I practiced in the areas of cardiology and transplant medicine. With my original goal of having a license to practice medicine, I returned to school in 2014 to become a nurse practitioner. In June of 2016, I realized my goal and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner.

Since graduation, I have worked in the areas of bio-identical hormone replacement, weight loss, wellness, and aesthetic medicine and am so happy and fulfilled that I fell into the natural and disease preventative side of aesthetics.

I am board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in which I am an active member. Also, I am a member of the Houston Area of Nurse Practitioners organization.

I am an international medical missionary worker as well as a successful entrepreneur in the healthcare field. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and backpacking.
